Every year, Liteboat owners (but not only !) have the opportunity to come together and share their passion for rowing, discovering new places and enjoying time on the water. This year, our German distributor Jochen brought together a group of rowers for a rowing camp in Croatia, on Novigradsko More.
The week was a wonderful combination of sporting challenges, breathtaking scenery and shared experiences both on and off the water.
For those who wanted to join, the rowing days started early with focused technique sessions. In the peaceful morning atmosphere, with the water often almost perfectly calm, we were able to work on rowing technique and different aspects of the stroke. These sessions provided the perfect foundation for the longer outings later in the day.
From our base at Novigradsko More, we enjoyed several beautiful rowing trips along the Croatian coastline. Our tours took us to Rovanjska, via Posedarje, and to Novigrad. Each outing offered different conditions, from calm coastal waters to more challenging sections, while the spectacular scenery made every kilometre an experience in itself.
One of the highlights of the week was our trip into the Zrmanja Gorge. With its steep cliffs, turquoise water and almost untouched natural surroundings, this spectacular landscape made the outing truly unforgettable. Exploring places like this from a Liteboat gives rowing a whole new dimension — combining sport, adventure and discovery.
But the camp was about much more than rowing. Sharing the experience with other Liteboat owners and rowers was at the heart of the week. The time spent together between outings, the conversations, the meals and the relaxed atmosphere all contributed to making the camp such a special experience.
