In May, the charity Défis d’Elles invited Liteboat to take part in its major sports and charity event held in Biscarosse. Over two days, 80 participants competed in mountain biking, trail running and canoeing, raising funds for a charity dedicated to breast cancer prevention.
Liteboat was able to contribute to this adventure, held in a magnificent setting near the Atlantic Ocean, by offering an introduction to rowing with Marit (ambassador in Germany). And for a special event, a special boat: the first pink LiteSport 5.0!
On Sunday morning, ten participants had the chance to try rowing: after a short introduction on the sand to understand the body movements, they learnt how to hold the oars, were guided through the first strokes and then left to experiment on the water. Within fifteen minutes, everyone was already completing full strokes, and they carried on for another half an hour, clearly enjoying themselves. Those who wished to could also try our double scull, the LiteDuo, with Marit coaching them directly on board.
