Rent an XP for the R2AK

The Race to Alaska is for many the race of a lifetime. It is a 750-mile non-motorized, unassisted adventure from Port Townsend, Washington to Ketchikan, Alaska. It is the longest unassisted boat race in North America.

This race is internationally recognized.

The XP 20 is a 6-meter ballasted dinghy, designed by Sam Manuard. This boat was designed from the start to participate in this challenge. It is THE boat for two teammates.

This simple, easy to use and reliable monohull is equipped with a small cabin. It has the particularity of being equipped with a rowing station like a rowing boat, perfect to continue the adventure in the calm zones and not to lose time when the wind leaves the game.

Liteboat’s partners in Victoria BC (race start location) will be there to provide you with logistical, technical and human assistance on site. Having completed four races on all types of boats, they will be your guides before your big departure. Preparation of the boat, navigation, geographical specificity, provisioning, they will know how to transmit their knowledge to you.

At the same time, Mathieu Bonnier, passionate about adventure for more than 30 years, who has twice completed the Race to Alaska, founder of the Liteboat company and the XP concept, will share his experience. It will be possible to discover the boat in France before the start of the race.
