Five scullers – A Liteboat trip in Czech Republic
Five scullers rowed through waterworks of the Vltava River to pay tribute to the memory of the log drivers.
The same as in 2018, a group of five Czech scullers lived a beautiful journey through the steps of Vltava cascade waterworks, which consists of seven dams. The scullers rowed between 40 – 50 km per day with a lot of stays on places historically related to the floating of the wood, log driving and log drivers.
Participants headed by the Czech famous rower Mr. Vaclav Chalupa who competed at six consecutive Olympics from 1988 to 2008 and winning a silver medal in Barcelona in 1992 in the single scull, had to rely on four LiteSport 1X and one LiteRace 1X, boats that have been absolutely stable and entirely easy to operate!
As has Vaclav says: “If you row a LiteSport 1X, it is almost impossible to capsize. As these boats are developed for recreational lake and coastal rowing, their construction and stability guarantee extraordinary security in any conditions on the Vltava river, comfort and safety”.
The same as last year, their journey and amazing adventure finished under the Charles Bridge in heart of Prague, followed by plenty of tourist of this beautiful city.
