The World Rowing Coastal Championships were held from October 12 to October 15  in Thonon-les-Bains, France. Thirty-two nations were represented and no fewer than 617 rowers competed in the 6K race.

A very technical race course, demanding a certain know-how in navigation and which created surprises throughout the weekend, such as with the Russian Women’s Quad on our LiteRace4X which dominated the competition before making a buoy mistake and finally end its race at 30 hundredths of a second from the podium.

Great performances for the Liteboats as 9 boats won their tickets for the A final and 4 for the B final. The Société Nautique de Monaco chose to race on our LiteRace2X and won the silver medal in the men’s double, with on board Quentin Antognelli and Mathieu Monfort.
